Milankovitch and Climate Resources

One of the great theories in the study of paleoclimate is that changes in Earth's orbital parameters act as forcings that change climate over long periods of time.  We covered these Milankovitch Cycles in class and I thought  you'd enjoy this interactive animation of the Milankovitch Cycles so you can see its effects.

Also, Dr. Nolan Atkins has a great meteorology course online that has excellent references and illustrated lecture notes on paleoclimate, and also on the basic climate of the Earth. It is a great supplement to lecture!
